What is Micro Bonding?
One strand of keratin hair extension cut into 2 or three pieces. Ideal for the top, sides, and bang area. Also great for adding face-framing highlights and lowlights.
I like to cocktail micro bonding with all methods of hair extensions. There are times that one method just doesn't complete the desired look and cutting down the bonds to create smaller pieces is a total game-changer. When done correctly they are undetectable and won't damage the natural hair.
This is an advanced method of hair extensions and should be practiced on a mannequin before working on a client. Typically bonding is only done below the partial ridge so anything above requires proper application techniques so you protect the integrity of your client's hair.
