Which hair extension companies can you trust?!
Aug 17, 2021The hair extension wholesale/retail business is saturated with competition, after all, it's a BILLION dollar industry. You could spend thousands of dollars and never land on a reputable company.
You have two choices - you're going to be good or GREAT at the art of hair extensions! Women need Extension Artists who will have their best interest and trust me when she finds that person she will be forever loyal! I know this because my guests travel from DE, NJ, WV, VA, PA, DC, and MD.
Selecting the right hair supplier is a huge portion of your residual income. You need a GREAT product to secure the client for years to come.
Questions to ask when choosing a new vendor
Where is the hair sourced?
Is this Remy human hair and if so what are the percentages?
(you'd be surprised by this answer if it's true)
What percentage is the "actual" length (single drawn)?
(it's never 100%)
If double drawn what percentage?
(if any?)
What is the adhesive made of? Is it durable? Shiny or dull? ( you don't want shiny!)
Will the extension hair shed?
Can I re-use and if so how many times?
Can I color these extensions and if so under what guidelines?
How to remove and will it leave a build-up and require copious amounts of oil?
What is the weight of each piece and can the base be cut?
