Before you begin building your business, you'll have to really hone in on who's your ideal customer. The biggest mistake in marketing is when you have too large of an audience. Knowing who your target demographic is will save you time and money.

You need a website. It doesn't have to be fancy but it needs to answer the 5 W's. Who, what, when, where, and why. Use high pixel images and remember there isn't a second chance for a first impression. A website doesn't have to be expensive and you don't need to hire a professional.
Try Wix, Square Space, WordPress, or BigCommerce. They are all very user friendly.

Create a Business Page
Here’s what you’ll need to set up your Facebook Page.
1. Your business name and description Name your Page after your business, or another name that people search for to find your business. Use the About section to tell people what your business does. 2. A profile photo and cover photo Choose photos that best represent your business. Many businesses choose to use their logo as a profile photo. For the cover photo, choose an image of your store, products, or one from a current marketing campaign. 3. The action you want people to take At the top of your Page, you can add a call-to-action that directs your Page visitors to do something, like visit your website or call your store. It just takes a few clicks.
Create a Business Profile
Go to your profile and tap in the upper right corner.
Tap Switch to Professional Account.
If you'd like, you can follow the steps to connect your business account to a Facebook Page associated with your business. This step is optional and will make it easier to use all of the features available for businesses across the Facebook family of apps. At this time, only one Facebook Page can be connected to your business account.
Add details, like your business category and contact information.
With a business account, you'll be able to access business features and Instagram Insights. These tools can help you understand who is engaging with your business on Instagram.
You also have the option to display or hide your business category and contact information on your profile. After setting up, go to your profile and tap Edit Profile. Go to Profile Display under Public Business Information to choose whether you want to hide or display your category label and contact info. Then, tap Done.
Don't waste time on Snapchat and TikTok. Think of your demographic and spend more time thinking the way they think than the way you do. Get involved more by posting daily to your stories and share more than just photos of your work. Your potential customers want to learn more about you!

Google+ Create a Business Page
Go to the Google+ Business Page and click the blue “Create Your Google+ Page” button. Google+ now offers Pages for business.
Pick a relevant business category and add your information. ...
Add a tagline, upload a profile banner, click the “Continue” button and your page is created.
