Studio She™ Academy Accessibility Statement
Covers: studiosheacademy.com, our learning portals, and the Extension IQ mobile app experiences.
At Studio She™ Academy, everyone should be able to learn, grow, and do business with confidence. We are committed to providing a website and digital experiences that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user friendly for everyone. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continually review, test, and improve our experiences.
What We Are Doing
We are:
-
Building pages with semantic HTML so headings, lists, and landmarks are clear to assistive technologies.
-
Providing text alternatives for meaningful images and media.
-
Maintaining sufficient color contrast and scalable text that supports user zoom up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality.
-
Supporting full keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, and logical tab order.
-
Reducing motion and honoring user settings like “Reduce Motion” and “Prefers Reduced Transparency” where applicable.
-
Adding captions to new training videos and providing transcripts on request.
-
Designing forms with clear labels, instructions, and error messages that are conveyed in text and programmatically.
-
Testing with screen readers and magnification tools during releases.
Where We Test
We combine automated audits and manual checks, including keyboard only navigation, and testing with:
-
NVDA on Windows
-
VoiceOver on macOS and iOS
-
Built-in browser zoom and high contrast settings
-
Common browsers including Chrome, Safari, and Edge, on current operating systems
Mobile and the Extension IQ app
We are working to ensure our app supports:
-
System text scaling and Dynamic Type
-
Screen reader support on iOS and Android
-
Sufficient contrast and non-color cues
-
Pausing or limiting animations that could trigger motion sensitivity
Third-Party Platforms and Content
Some parts of our experience are provided by third parties. Examples include:
-
Payment and checkout providers
-
Scheduling and webinar tools
-
Embedded video or social media content
These services have their own accessibility practices. While we cannot control their code, we choose vendors that state a commitment to accessibility and we raise issues with them when we find barriers.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, you may encounter items that are not fully accessible yet, such as:
-
Legacy videos that do not have captions
-
Older PDFs that are not fully tagged for screen readers
If you need an accessible alternative, tell us what you need and we will provide it. Examples include captions, transcripts, tagged PDFs, or a one-on-one walkthrough.
Feedback and Support
Your experience matters. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need content in a different format, or want to share suggestions, contact us.
